Japanese Takana Pork - Microwave Recipe


1. Slice the pork into 2-cm strips then marinate it with the grated ginger, sake, soy sauce and sesame oil for 30 minutes.

2. Drain the shiitake then remove the stem. Slice the head thinly. Chop the onion and the scallions. Slice the carrot into thin strips.

3. Mix the pork and vegetables in a microwave-safe bowl then cover/wrap it with a microwave-safe kitchen wrap. Put in the microwave then cook for 5 minutes using 600W.

4. Take out from the microwave then add the cornstarch water then mix.

5. Put back the cover/wrap then microwave for 1 minute. Let it stand for 2 minutes before taking the cover.

6. Mix well before serving.
