1. shake stew pieces in flour and brown in veg oil. 2. after all browned add water and rest of ingredients. 3. simmer for 2 hrs or meat is tender. 4. cut up bite size carrots and potatoes (I like lots). 5. add carrots and potatoes to the stew. 6. cook until tender. 7. shake together some flour and cold water. 8. pour into the stew to make gravy (I make mine quite thick). 9. enjoy with some bread and a toss salad. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
