1. Combine wine, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and orange peel in saucepan. Stir to blend.

2. Let stand 3-4 hours.

3. Heat, but do not boil.

4. Light with a match and pour burning into heatproof cups containing a few almonds and raisins.
