1. In a bowl, mix together the milk, cream, sugar and salt. 2. Heat ghee in a pan. 3. Add cumin seeds, cinnamon, bay leaf, cardamoms and cloves. 4. Allow to splutter. 5. Add rice and fry in ghee for 2 minutes. 6. Add the milk-cream mixture. 7. Add 1/2 a cup of water. 8. Bring to a boil, partially cover and simmer till rice is cooked. 9. Mix in the drained fruit very gently. 10. Garnish by sprinkling finely broken rose petals. 11. Pick up a spoon and indulge! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
