1. Heat oil in non-stick skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add onion and saute slowly until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and ginger and saute until fragrant, about 1 minute. 2. Add beef and cook, breaking up large clumps with the edge of a wooden spoon, until brown all the way through, with no pink, about 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. 3. Add tomatoes, garam masala, green chili, and turmeric and cook until tomatoes are hot and flavors combine, 3-4 minutes. 4. Add peas and lemon juice.
