1. Heat oil over medium heat in saucepan. 2. Add vermicelli and cook for 3 - 5 minutes until coated with oil. 3. Add rice and salt and stir to coat with oil. 4. Add boiling water and cover. 5. Cook 15 - 20 minutes, stir occasionally. 6. Add more water if need be. 7. Stir through butter. 8.
