1. Spread 6 bread slices with lemon spread. 2. Cover with remaining bread. 3. In a shallow bowl, mix eggs and milk. 4. Dip each sandwich in egg mixture. 5. Fry in melted butter until golden. 6. Meanwhile, heat strawberries and syrup in a small saucepan. 7. Mix cold water and cornstarch in a cup. 8. Add to strawberries, stirring constantly until sauce is thickened. 9.
