1. Melt butter in a lg. non-stick saucepan. 2. Saute garlic until cooked. 3. Add half and half, and cook on med. heat, until hot, stirring often. 4. Add cheeses, and stir until cheese melts, and sauce is bubbly and thick. 5. Add salt and pepper. 6. Toss with fettuccine noodles. 7. Note: 8. I sometimes saute fresh sliced mushrooms with the garlic and butter, or add a jar of sliced ones. 9.
