1. Heat butter in 12-inch skillet.

2. Add garlic and onion, cook till soft.

3. Add tomatoes.

4. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

5. Add clams and heat through.

6. Serve over linguini, sprinkle with cheese.
