Low Sodium Chili Cornbread Casserole


1. Brown beef with onions and peppers until no longer pink.

2. Add beans, tomatoes, corn, and spices and simmer 5 minutes.

3. Stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, and baking powder.

4. Combine milk, egg, and oil.

5. Pour milk mixture into flourm ixture, stirring until just moistened.

6. Spread beef mixture in a greased 8x8 baking dish.

7. Spread cornbread over top of beef.

8. bake at 425 until cornbread is done, about 10-12 minutes.
