Lower-Fat Mexican Tortilla Casserole


1. Heat oven to 350°F.

2. Spray round casserole dish with no-stick cooking spray.

3. Fry ground beef or turkey until no longer pink.

4. Stir in can of refried beans.

5. Stir in salsa.

6. Lay one tortilla in the bottome of the dish.

7. Spread approximately 1/4 of the beef and bean mixture on top.

8. Sprinkle approximately 1/4 c of cheese over the beef and bean mixture.

9. Continue to layer, then top with remaining cheese.

10. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until hot and cheese on top is lightly browned.
