Low-Fat Anise Cookies


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Cream Promise spread and sugar until smooth.

3. Add eggs and milk and beat well.

4. Slowly add in flour mixture (flour, baking powder, & salt) and mix well.

5. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

6. Flatten slightly and bake about 12 minutes before they start to brown.

7. Remove from oven and place on cooling racks.

8. When completely cool you may frost them.

9. Frosting: Mix Promise spread, sugar, milk, and anise extract until smooth.

10. Use to frost cooled cookies.

11. Decorate as desired.
