Mary'S Swiss Steak


1. Melt 4 TBSP margarine in a large skillet, then sauté onions. Remove from the skillet.

2. Coat the steak with the flour. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Melt remaining margarine in the skillet and brown the meat well on both sides.

4. Mix with steak the onions, water, sour cream until blended.

5. Cover and cook over medium heat till meat is tender (30-45 min).

6. Uncover and cook until the sauce thickens (10 min). Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.
