1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350 *F. (175*C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with the olive oil, and place it in the oven while preheating. 2. 2. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground turkey, egg, and bread crumbs using your hands. Using an ice cream scoop if possible, form the meat into golf ball sized meatballs. Place about 1 inch apart in the hot baking dish. Press down to flatten the bottom just slightly. 3. 3. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, then turn them over, and continue baking for about 5 more minutes, or until somewhat crispy on the outside. Serve with pasta and sauce or however you'd like. 4. My Note: My daughter sent me this recipe. She loved it so much. I added 1/2 teaspoons sage, 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan, onion power, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Also, I added about 1/8 cup of water. It made the meatballs soooo delicious. 5. * UPDAT: Maybe I should have been more specific about the fat content of the turkey but 99% fat free turkey does not work (I also tried to use it). The meat should have at least 7% fat. 6. Sometime I used at meatloaf mix (beef/pork/veal), and added 2 TBSP of parmesan cheese and 2 tsp crushed garlic for extra flavor. Baked them according to the recipe then put them in a pot of sauce to simmer for a couple hours. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
