1. Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. 2. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. 3. Add egg and milk;mix until dough forms a ball. 4. Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead 10- 12 times, only. 5. Roll out to 3/4 inch, cut with floured cutter. 6. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. 7.
