1. proof yeast with lukewarm water and 1/4 cup sugar 2. add egg beaten 3. flour and salt together. 4. add melted and cooled shortening 5. knead dough for 5 minutes 6. place in greased bowl in warm place 7. raise til doubled. 8. punch down let raise agian 9. have topping ready 10. pinch off dough size of walnut 11. dip in butter then in sugar mixture 12. drop in well greased angel food cake pan in layers 13. let rise again 14. bake 375 for 30 minutes im guessing no time given. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
