1. Cover chick peas with water and cook (about 1 hour, add water if needed). 2. Add wine to raisens and let soak 1 hour to all day. 3. After chick peas are cooked, saute sliced onions and garlic in olive oil for 5-10 minutes. 4. Add chick peas, raisens in wine, tomatoes and spices. 5. Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. 6.
