1. Heat oil in pan over medium-high heat. 2. Add onion and cook, stirring for 3 minutes or until softened and edges are browning slightly. 3. Add garlic and pepper and cook for 2 minutes. 4. Add sirloin and cook until medium rare (about 2-3 minutes). 5. Meanwhile, mix cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry, rice vinegar, brown sugar in a bowl. 6. Add pea pods to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
