1. In large heavy bottomed pan, heat oil and saute garlic until golden (1 minute or so). 2. If using meat, add to pot and cook until brown. 3. Add all remaining ingredients, stirring thoroughly. 4. Bring to boil; turn down to simmer and cook 30 minutes. 5. Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference. 6. NOTE: I've also used Penzey's Pasta Sprinkle instead of the basil, oregano and onion powder. Use 4-5 teaspoons per recipe. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
