Neenish Tarts


1. Turn the oven on to 350 deg F.

2. Cream the butter and sugar, add egg and beat well.

3. Mix in sifted dry ingredients.

4. Knead well.

5. Roll out and line patty tins, prick and bake about 10-15 minutes.

6. When cold, fill with the filling.

7. Filling: Soften the butter, add the sifted icing sugar, condensed milk and lemon juice.

8. When set, ice half the top with white icing and half with chocolate icing.
