No-Guilt Refried Beans


1. Combine beans, salsa, onion and garlic powder in 2-quart saucepan. Bring mixture to boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 7-10 minutes, or until onion is translucent, stirring occasionally.

2. Add margarine. Stir until melted. In food processor or blender, process mixture until smooth. Serve as a taco or burrito ingredient, side dish, or as a dip to chips or vegetables.
