Norwegian Cookies


1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.

3. Add egg and extracts and beat until light and fluffy.

4. Add flour and nuts and beat until just moistened.

5. Cover and chill until firm enough to handle.

6. Shape into 1-inch balls.

7. Place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.

8. Flatten with a glass dipped in colored sugar.

9. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are set.
