1. Preheat oven to 450^F. 2. Bring water to a boil and add 2 tsp salt. 3. Bring water to a simmer. 4. Gradually whisk in the cornmeal. 5. Whisk smooth. 6. Bring to a simmer, cover and place in the oven. 7. Bake 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes until thick and no longer gritty. 8. Stir in the butter and the Parmesan cheese. 9.
