Oven Baked Polenta With Parmesan


1. Preheat oven to 450^F.

2. Bring water to a boil and add 2 tsp salt.

3. Bring water to a simmer.

4. Gradually whisk in the cornmeal.

5. Whisk smooth.

6. Bring to a simmer, cover and place in the oven.

7. Bake 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes until thick and no longer gritty.

8. Stir in the butter and the Parmesan cheese.

9. Salt and pepper to taste.

10. Serve with extra grated Parmesan cheese.
