1. In a large saucepan, combine the first nine ingredients; bring to a boil; stirring constantly. 2. Decrease heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Remove from heat. 4. Remove 2 cups of sauce to a bowl; cover and refrigerate for serving. 5. Place brisket in a shallow roasting pan; brush with the liquid smoke. 6. Pour remaining sauce over meat; cover and bake at 325° for 3 hours or until meat is tender. 7. Let stand for 5 minutes; heat reserved sauce. 8.
