1. Preheat over to 375. Butter a cake or pie pan. 2. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form, add sugar and vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form. Pour into buttered pan. Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and bake 30 minutes or until top is light golden-colored. 3.
