1. Mix one cup of the sauce with the cooked macaroni. 2. Mix the ricotta with 3/4 cup of grated cheese, parsley and egg. 3. Add salt and pepper to taste and the red pepper flakes. 4. Layer sauce on the bottom of a deep casserole. 5. Add 1/3 of the pasta followed by 1/2 of the ricotta mixture. 6. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozzarella. 7. Put down a layer of sauce and repeat. 8. Add the final layer of macaroni and top with sauce and the remaining 1/4 cup of grated cheese. 9. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbling and the cheese on top starts to brown. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
