1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. 2. Add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. 3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. 4. Saute onions until golden brown, about 10 minutes. 5. Stir in garlic, and cook for 2 minutes. 6. Remove from heat, and stir in balsamic vinegar. 7.
