Pastechi Pastry Dough


1. Mix dry ingredients with butter.

2. Slowly add liquid.

3. Knead to a smooth ball and let stand 20 minutes.

4. Roll out thinly on lightly floured board.

5. Cut into rounds using biscuit cutter or glass.

6. Place 1 generous tsp of Pastechi filling (recipe posted separately) onto rounds.

7. Fold rounds in half; seal and crimp edges.

8. Fry in oil until golden brown.

9. Drain on paper towels.

10. Serve warm and with ketchup, if desired.
