1. In a blender or food processor, mince onion garlic and ginger. 2. Over medium heat warm oil in a skillet. 3. Add asafoetida and cumin. 4. Let spices darken (2seconds). 5. Add blended onion mixture and cook until browned (12minutes). 6. Add salt, cayenne, tumeric, garam masala & tomatoes and cook until softened (5minutes). 7.
