1. 1. Melt butter in large pot over stove. Sauté celery and onions. Add chicken broth and thyme. 2. 2. Chop cabbage, potatoes, sausage and carrots and add them as well. Cover with adequate amount of water and simmer until potatoes are tender. Stir often. 3. 3.
