Portuguese Cinnamon Wreaths


1. Cream together butter and all but 2 Tablespoons of the sugar.

2. Add egg yolks, one at a time and beat until light.

3. Add sifted flour and salt alternately with sherry, mixing well.

4. Fill cookie press with dough and press out each wreath onto ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheets.

5. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes.

6. Combine the cinnamon with the reserved 2 tablespoons sugar and sprinkle warm cookies with the mixture.
