Pumpkin Dutch Apple Pie


1. Apple Layer: 2 medium apples thinly sliced 1/4 cup sugar 2 teaspoons flour 1 teaspoons lemon juice 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon Toss apple slices in the other ingredients and place on the bottom of an unbaked pie shell.

2. Pumpkin Layer: 2 eggs beaten 1 1/2 cups solid pack pumpkin 1 cup carnation milk (I used the no fat) 1/2 cup sugar 2 tbs. melted butter 3/4 teaspoons cinnamon 1/8 teaspoons nutmeg 1/4 teaspoons salt Combine all ingredients and pour over apple layer.

3. Crumble Layer: 1/2 cup flour 5 tbs. sugar 3 tbs. butter 1/3 cup pecans Combine and crumble with a pastry blender.

4. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes, then sprinkle crumble layer on top and bake another 20 minutes. Cool on a rack.
