1. Heat a large frying pan over med-high heat. 2. Add olive oil. 3. Sauté (stir fry) onions for 2 minutes. 4. Add garlic sauté another minute. 5. Add tomatoes and tomato paste, cook for 2 minutes. 6. Add wine, reduce heat, simmer for 20 minutes. 7. Keep an eye on it, add more wine as necessary to keep a bit of liquid in the pan. 8. Season with salt and basil. 9.
