1. Put the 2 cups of sultanas in a pot and cover with water and boil for 5 minutes.

2. Stir in the butter.

3. Add the almond essence.

4. Mix in a bowl:

5. Beat the three eggs and large cup of sugar.

6. Add Sultana mix and 2 large cups of flour and mix well.

7. Bake at 350F for 1 1/2 hours.
