Simmer on medium-low for 1/2 hour to 1 hour or until the mixture reduces to a syrup(mine was not real syrupy, I simmered 1 hour). Then strain the mixture through a fine sieve (discarding solids) into a clean jar with a lid and store in the refrigerator. 3. How to use the chai syrup: 4. Simply mix 1 teaspoon to up to 1 tablespoon of the chai syrup into hot milk(I use almond milk) and serve.
