1. Trim fat from beef and cut into bite-size cubes. 2. Heat oil in a large Dutch oven and brown meat in batches. 3. Pour off drippings. 4. Add salsa, brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. 6. Cover and simmer 1 hour or longer. 7. Remove lid and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes. 8.
