1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, brown sugar and egg yolk. 2. Gradually add flour. 3. Roll into 1 inch balls. 4. In a small bowl, beat egg white. 5. Dip balls in egg white, then roll in pecans. 6. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. 7. Flatten slightly. 8. Bake at 375°F for 8-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. 9.
