1. 1. Sprinkle chuck roast with garlic salt.Place roast in the bottom of a greased 3 1/2-4 quart slow cooker. Top with onion and celery. 2. 2. Combine brown sugar,ketchup, lemon juice,Worchestershire sauce,vinegar, and liquid smoke in a small bowl. Pour over meat.Cover and cook on low 8 hours,or until beef is tender. Remove meat from cooker and place on cutting board. 3. 3. Ladle 1/4 cup of liquid from slow cooker into a small bowl. Add flour and whisk until smooth. Stir flour mixture into sauce in slow cooker.Shred beef with fork and return to slow cooker. Cook on high 30 minutes.
