1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. 2. Meanwhile, dice cabbage. 3. Boil cabbage for 1 minute, drain and return to pot. 4. Chop onion and slice apple. 5. Add with remaining ingredients to the pot of cabbage. 6. Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender, about 1 hour. 7.
