1. In a large saucepan, cook bacon, onion and garlic over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until bacon renders its fat and onion begins to brown, 5 minutes. 2. Add cumin and allspice, and cook, stirring, 1 minute. 3. Add tomatoes and chicken broth, cook 5 minutes. 4. Add garbanzo beans, spinach, scallions, worchestershire, and pepper. Bring to a boil. 5.
