1. Toast the bread. 2. Slice the tomatoes into 1/2" slabs. 3. Spread mayonnaise onto the toast. 4. Pack tomato slices wall-to-wall on top of the toast. 5. Sprinkle with kosher salt and freshly ground pepper. 6. Eat carefully, over the plate. The tomatoes might try to slip away! 7.
