Sugar Cookies


1. Cream together butter and sugar.

2. Stir in well-beaten egg, then milk and vanilla.

3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

4. Stir into creamed mixture.

5. Mix well.

6. Chill, covered in the fridge for at least 1/2 hour.

7. Roll dough out to 1/8" thick on a floured board.

8. Cut into shapes with cookie cutter.

9. Bake on a lightly greased baking sheet at 375F for 7-9 minutes.

10. Let cool a few minutes, then remove to a rack to finish cooling.

11. Decorate, if desired.
