Swedish Meatballs (Kottbullar)


1. Beat eggs well, Add grated onions, spices and bread, which has been soaked in the milk until all liquid has been absorbed. Add meats to this mixture and work well. roll into small balls (approximately 1 inch in diameter).

2. Melt about 1 tablespoon butter or margarine in a heavy skillet. Add the meatballs and fry until evenly browned. Cover the skillet and simmer until cooked through. Shake pan or stir occasionally so that meatballs will be cooked and browned evenly.
