Swiss Cheese And Cherry Spread


1. Bring cheese and butter to room temperature Meanwhile, snip cherries and cover with boiling water and let stand 10 minutes.

2. Drain well; pat cherries dry with paper towels and set aside.

3. Place cheese, butter, mayo and mustard in a food-processor bowl.

4. Cover and process till combined.

5. Stir in cherries and green onions; cover and refrigerate.

6. Serve with crackers or cocktail breads (rye or whole wheat is great).

7. Makes about 2 cups.
