Swiss Cherry Cheese Torte


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Combine cake mix with oil, water and eggs.

3. Bake in 2 (8 inch) greased and floured round cake pans for 35 to 40 minutes.

4. Cool.

5. Split each layer into 2 thin layers.

6. For frosting cream vanilla frosting, cream cheese and lemon juice.

7. Spread frosting over cake layers, then cherry pie filling on top of frosting.

8. Continue, ending with pie filling on top.

9. Store cake in refrigerator.
