1. Combine all ingredients in a large container. 2. Cover and let marinate overnight. 3. Place in large saucepan. 4. Slowly bring to a boil. 5. Lower heat and simmer for 11/2 hours until cabbage is cooked and the liquid has evaporated. 6.
