1. Put peas in a large bowl and cover with water. 2. Leave to soak overnight. 3. After peas have soaked, put all ingredients into a large saucepan. 4. Put on stove on high heat. 5. Bring to the boil. 6. Turn heat to low, and let simmer. 7. Simmer until sauce thickens, and peas are soft and cooked. 8. Add a little water if needed, mixture should not be too dry. 9.
