1. cut right through the skin og the plantains and cut them into 1 inch chunks. 2. Peel the skins off and using the back of a big spoon, flatten the plantain down. 3. Soak all the pieces in water for 10 minutes and them salt them. 4. Fry them up in corn oil and voila, Tostones. 5.
