Tracey'S Scottish Microwave Dumpling


1. Completely line a 2 liter microwave bowl with plastic wrap, taking care to take out the wrinkles.

2. Combine first 9 ingredients in a microwaveable bowl and heat until butter has melted (can be done in a pot on the stove).

3. Add flour and baking soda and mix together, then add eggs and mix well.

4. Pour into plastic-wrapped bowl and and cook uncovered in the microwave for 9-10 minutes.

5. Allow to cool a few minutes, then invert bowl onto a plate. Serve with custard, caramel sauce, or butter,.
