Trimlestown Roast Sirloin


1. Roast the sirloin for one hour at 350 degrees.

2. Baste with whiskey and wine and cook another hour, basting frequently.

3. Remove roast from oven, place on a serving dish, and cover with foil.

4. While the roast is sitting, add water to the juices to make one pint of liquid.

5. Bring to a simmer and add butter and flour; simmer 2-3 minutes.

6. Slice the roast and serve with gravy.
